It’s been a while since the last time I wrote something here, huh?
So, anyway, am I cooking something behind the scenes? Yep, just dipped my toes into homelabbing. Specifically, with a Raspberry Pi Zero 2.

What I’ve Done So Far
Due to the limitations of the Zero 2 (it’s $15, of course you can’t expect much from it), I’ve hosted two things so far:
- that one thing most people with a Zero would install, Pi-Hole for ad-blocking and internal DNS
- Vaultwarden for password management; switching from KeePassXC
With the amount of resources unused by the two above, I may consider adding another or two lightweight services on that small machine.
Future Plans
I don’t really have much other than that one A22 5G that has been laying around for a while. Perhaps I will try getting it to host Immich despite the limitations of the device.
That’s all I want to share I guess. Originally, I wanted to attach a network diagram for the setup in this post, but looking at the examples really make head spin with how complex they are. So, wait for future posts to see that.
